Have your return ticket and hotel booking open on your phone for immigration.

At the airport
Get your eSIM working or pick up your pocket Wi-Fi at the arrivals counters.
Buy an EasyCard at the Airport MRT ticket counter or the 7-Eleven in arrivals.
Follow the purple Airport MRT signs. Express trains to Taipei Main take ~35–40 minutes for NT$160.
Late night arrival
The Airport MRT stops around 23:30. After that, take a metered taxi (~NT$1,200 to central Taipei) or bus 1819 to Taipei Main Station, which runs through the night.
