Before you land
File the free e-Arrival Card at e-arrivalcard.go.kr within 3 days before arrival. Paper cards may still be around at some airports, but don't count on it.
Save your visa e-grant notice, return ticket and hotel bookings on your phone, and print a copy.
Download Naver Map or KakaoMap and Papago. Google Maps works for transit, but walking and driving directions are limited in Korea.
At the airport
Immigration first, then baggage claim and customs.
SIM, eSIM help and pocket Wi-Fi counters are in the arrivals hall.
Buy a T-money or WOWPASS at a convenience store (CU, GS25) and load cash.
Follow the AREX signs to the Transportation Center. All-stop trains reach Seoul Station in about 59 minutes from T1 for ₩4,750 on T-money; the Express takes 43 minutes for ₩13,000.
Late arrival
AREX trains stop before midnight. After that, take a late-night airport bus to central Seoul, or a taxi (about ₩70,000–90,000 including tolls, estimate). Kakao T and Uber both work at the airport.
