Getting there
The KTX from Seoul Station reaches Busan Station in about 2h15–2h45 for ₩54,400 (standard seat). Or fly straight from Manila to Gimhae and do the trip in reverse.
Metro and buses
Line 1 (orange) covers Nampo, Busan Station and Seomyeon; Line 2 (green) covers Seomyeon, Gwangalli and Haeundae. Fares are ₩1,600–1,800 by card, and T-money from Seoul works here too.
Gamcheon: Line 1 to Toseong, Exit 6, then a village bus up the hill.
Haedong Yonggungsa: Line 2 to Haeundae, then bus 181 or a taxi.
From Gimhae Airport
Take the Busan–Gimhae Light Rail to Sasang (about 10 minutes), then Line 2 into the city. A light rail to metro transfer within 30 minutes only charges the higher fare. Taxis to Seomyeon take about 30 minutes.
