No eating on trains, and keep phone calls quiet.
Pink seats are for pregnant women; leave the end seats for seniors.
T-money or Climate Card?
T-money is pay-as-you-go and works everywhere in Korea. The Climate Card tourist pass gives unlimited Seoul subway and bus rides for 1–7 days (₩5,000–20,000 plus a ₩3,000 card), but not outside Seoul. If you'll ride 3+ times a day and stay inside the city, the pass wins.
Buses and taxis
Tap your card when you board and when you get off for transfer discounts. Taxis start at ₩4,800 and are good value for groups of 3–4 on short hops.
