Who needs one
Philippine passport holders need a visa for mainland South Korea. K-ETA is only for visa-exempt nationalities, so it doesn't apply to you, and there's no online e-visa route for ordinary tourists.
The exception is Jeju: up to 30 days visa-free if you fly there directly on an international flight and stay on the island. Connecting through Incheon or Gimpo doesn't count.

Fees and timing
Visa fee: free for stays under 60 days; ₱2,000 for 60–90 days.
KVAC processing fee: ₱1,000 per application since Aug 25, 2026, cash only.
Processing: about 14 working days from Nov 3, 2026. Express takes 5 working days for an extra fee.
Single-entry visas are valid for 3 months from issue. Approvals are digital, so print the e-grant notice from the Korea Visa Portal.
Multiple-entry and tips
Been to Korea before, hold OECD visas, or a licensed professional? You may be granted a multiple-entry visa (1–5 years, up to 30 days per stay). It's at the embassy's discretion, and you usually can't choose.
Apply 4–6 weeks before your trip.
Using an agency? Check that it's on KVAC's list of designated agencies.
